The Queen’s Speech – Nancy Duarte at TEDx East

Whilst all Brits are currently wallowing in the success of “The King’s Speech” at the Oscars, Baftas and pretty much any other award ceremony going, it’s great to see “The Presentation Queen“, Nancy Duarte, strutting her stuff at TEDx East.

We’ve long been a fan of Nancy and the work of the fine people at Duarte Design

Like us, they believe that developing presentations is more than simply making stuff look pretty – it’s about bringing content alive through structured and considered storytelling, impactful visuals and audience engagement.  We term this process Presentation Optimisation (or Optimization in the US).

But whilst we’re proud to call Nancy a friend of Eyeful, this isn’t a shameless plug for one of our chums. 

Nope – our hope is that after watching Nancy speak you’ll “get it“.  As she demonstrates, presentations can be more than simply sharing information – they can be about sparking change.  Powerful stuff…
